Waterstone’s has over 300 branches in the UK, Ireland, Amsterdam and Brussels and stocks over 15 million books

Waterstone’s has the biggest bookshop in Europe! Its in London, has over five floors, and stocks over 200,000 titles.

Around 250,000 people attended Waterstone’s midnight openings for the launch of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – that’s 7.4 times the amount of people Pride Park can seat!

80 million books will pass through the Waterstone’s CC each year – that’s 2.5 books per second!

33,120 books will pass through the sorter each hour - that’s over four times the amount in Barton Library!

The bottom floor of the distribution centre is 13,954 square meters – that means you could fit 3 football pitches inside it!

The distribution centre will contain 7,500 linear meters of shelf storage – that’s 5 miles!

The distribution centre is 12 m high – that equals the height of three double-decker buses!

Books will go round the sorting equipment at 2.3 meters per second. That’s just over 5 miles per hour!

An excellent team player with good communication skills, you'll be able to work to targets and have an understanding of Health & Safety practises at work.

With the motivation to succeed, you will want to learn the Unipart Way and use it everyday to develop your skills within a lean progressive culture in which everyone contributes.

Experience within an operational environment and a good understanding of warehouse processes is desirable but not essential.
